At BACOP, we are dedicated to nurturing the potential of young minds through the power of sports and education. The Mehta Camps Primary Schools League is one of our flagship programs, designed to inspire, educate, and unite boys and girls aged 5 to 15 from 12 primary schools across Uganda, with plans for continued expansion.
This year-round initiative brings together 1,200 young participants every week, offering a unique platform for personal growth, teamwork, and community building. True to its mission, the league is gender-sensitive, providing equal opportunities for both boys and girls to participate and excel. By encouraging the inclusion of girls in sports, the league breaks down stereotypes and fosters a culture of equality and empowerment.
Beyond the playing field, the Mehta Camps Primary Schools League addresses critical societal issues. We integrate drug and substance abuse prevention campaigns and promote mental health awareness, equipping children with essential life skills and knowledge to face challenges with confidence.
This program not only cultivates a love for sports but also strengthens school engagement, community connections, and holistic development for children. By bridging gaps between schools and communities, the league fosters unity, inclusion, and mutual respect.
Through the Mehta Camps Primary Schools League, we are shaping a brighter future for Uganda’s youth—one that is inclusive, resilient, and full of possibilities. Join us in supporting this transformative initiative and empowering the next generation of leaders!
